Garden consultations

A garden consultation offers an opportunity to gain expert insight into your outdoor space from an experienced RHS trained horticulturalist. Whether you are seeking solutions to specific challenges, considering a garden redesign, or simply looking for advice on how to manage and care for your plants effectively, a consultation provides tailored guidance to help you make the most of your garden.

My Approach

I work collaboratively, with a focus on understanding your garden, your needs, and your vision.

Step 1: Initial Contact
Please begin by sending an email outlining any particular concerns, aims, or observations regarding your garden. Photographs are very helpful at this stage, if you’re able to include them. Gardenregen@gmail.com

Step 2: Assessment and Scheduling
If I feel I am well placed to assist, I will offer a selection of dates for the consultation. If it seems your needs would be better met by a different professional—such as a landscaper, designer or arborist—I will let you know and, where possible, offer recommendations.

Step 3: The Consultation
On the day of the visit, I will spend an initial period in the garden surveying on my own. This allows me to observe the conditions, and reflect on any background information you’ve provided.

We will then look at the garden together, discussing the areas where you would like support. You are welcome to share your ideas and questions, or we can talk through my initial observations and suggestions. I will make notes and take photos.

Consultations typically last up to one hour.

Follow-Up
After the visit, I will provide a written summary of our discussion by email, along with any additional recommendations that may arise on further reflection. An invoice will be included at this stage.

Affordable fees that don’t cost the earth!
